As it is still quite warm and sunny in Hamburg I try to catch the last sunny days to wear my shortest skirts and some sunnies as I am sure it will get grey and moody soon here.
I know that Birkenstocks got super trendy this past year but I SWEAR I bought my first ones around 4 years ago in Berlin and I am more than happy that they are now accepted instead of earning weird looks. I love how their granny appearance helps changing the focus from a short sexy skirt to a more casual look as you probably guessed from my looks before I am not a fan of an all-round sexy outfit. I think some cute sneakers like these or these would also fit that look perfectly.
As the 70s are back this season and I really admire the playful cuts and the pastel colors the styles brings I combined my bottom lined jeans skirt with this cute striped t-shirt. I found this stunner of a jacket in a vintage shop in Iceland a few months ago but here you can get an almost same-looking one, thank God there is Urban Outfitters :-)
A simple brown bag and the classic Ray-Bans are the perfect accessorize for this look to my mind. What do you think?
As this is such a perfect casual look for sunny days here are my favourite 3 spots to go on a sunny day in Hamburg, all located in or around water ;-):
- I admire that there is so much water in and around Hamburg – So definitely take advantage of it when being here and go for a run at the Elbe or around the Alster. For those who are taking a day off at sports or just aren’t motivated enough because only visiting this beautiful city for a short time try an ice-cream at the Gelaterie in ‚Europapassage‘(station Jungfernstieg) after strolling around for some shopping in this area and go for a walk around the Binnenalster.
- Go to a boat rental around the Alster and either rent a canoe, a paddle boat or try stand up paddling. The last one is actually still on my to-do-list, badly wanna try it as I heard that it is both so much fun and a good exercise but couldn’t find the time to do it yet. Has anybody tried it and any good or bad experience with it?
- If you don’t wanna move at all but still wanna enjoy an amazing view and maybe a good drink I would for surely suggest you to go to Strand Pauli. It’s not a secret spot or anything but it is just such a nice spot, you have an amazing view at the Elbe and can enjoy some good drinks with some nice music.
Have an amazing week and maybe see you at any of these spots soon,
