Thomas Sabo SS17 presentation

So last week I had the honour to fly to the Thomas Sabo headquarter to Nürnberg with Michi and lots of other bloggers and see the presentation of the upcoming SS17 collection which is inspired by different cultures, mainly the african. At the same time it wants to underline the idea of togetherness. I was impressed by its different facets as there were both really simple minimalistic pieces as a pair of earrings and bracelets I fell in love with and more playful pieces. I am totally impressed, that a label that I adored as a young girl(keyword “charmbracelets”) is still catching me 10 years later with lots of their designs. Definitely a label that understands to offer goodies for all ages. During the presentation we had a great buffet and a lot of flying goodies and some really good conversations. In between we had a little break and then met again for a beautiful evening in a festively decorated hall, where we had a delicious buffet. listened to Frida Gold and then had a great time dancing all evening long. It was a pleasure to meet Mr. Sabo himself and be part of this beautiful event, thank you so much again for the invitation!

Letzte Woche hatte ich die Ehre zum Headquarter von Thomas Sabo nach Nürnberg mit Michi zu fliegen und zusammen mit vielen anderen Bloggern und Journalisten die neue Kollektion für SS17 anschauen zu können. Die primäre Inspiration dafür waren verschiedene Kulturen, besonders die Afrikanische. Der zweite Leitfaden war der Gedanke des “Zusammenseins”. Meine Lieblingsteile waren ein Paar sehr minimalistische, lange Ohrringe sowie ein ganz schlichtes goldenes Armband, aber es gab auch viele verspielte Stücke. Es hat mich begeistert zu sehen wie vielfältig die kommende Kollektion ist und zu entdecken wie eine Marke, die ich schon als junges Mädchen vergöttert habe (all mein Taschengeld und jeder Wunsch drehte sich um Thomas Sabo Stichwort “Charmarmbänder”) so variabel aufgestellt ist und Jung bis Alt begeistert! Während der Präsentation gab es neben einem vorzüglichen Buffet auch die leckersten “flying” Häppchen und vorallem Süßigkeiten, begleitet von vielen tollen Menschen und Gesprächen. Gefolgt von einer kleinen Pause im Hotel ging es zum Abend weiter in den wohl best dekoriertesten Saal mit einem riesigen festlichen Buffet bei dem wir nach einer Ansprache von Herrn Sabo höchst persönlich nicht nur das leckere Essen genießen konnten, sondern auch eine großartige Performance von Frida Gold. Den perfekten Abschluss gab dann die DJane, die wohl jeden von uns zum Tanzen brachte :-))
