Far Out Villas in Ios

Hey beautiful

I can’t believe how time flies at so it has already been 3 weeks since I came back from my trip to Greece. The first part of it I spent in Santorini where you can read about here and then went for 4 more days to Ios, an island located only 40mins boat ride by hellenic seaways away where we stay in the stunning Villa of the Far Out Villa Hotel and Spa. And - not kidding - my mom and me have been sitting in our hotel room for more than an hour just to be able to realize its beauty, hardly talking but just enjoying. And it was the most beautiful feeling knowing how happy and thankful my mom was about this stay, grinning from ear to ear!

As most of you already could see on Snapchat this place is just insanely beautiful. The hotel being located on the top of the road and with having two outdoor areas in our villa, my mom and me enjoyed a lovely view above the hotel and the beautiful beach. One outdoor area had a romantic sunbed and a chill out area, while the bigger outdoor area additionally had an awesome infinity pool we appreciated a lot! It was just so amazing to order some delicious breakfast while enjoying the view and going in between of each bits for a short swim or at least holding our feets in the water to cope with the heat better. The breakfast consisted of a variation of omelets, fresh fruits, a super yummie greek yoghurt with fruits and müsli, some freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee and so on…
There are four villas in total, each consisting of a bathroom and a separate toilette, a living room with a kitchen and a dining area, where you can transform the couches into two single beds, a bedroom as well as private outdoor areas, where you usually have a chill out space and a pool.
As there is place for up to 4 people I guess that the price is totally fair and the service great. We have both enjoyed our stay so much, I can honestly highly recommend it.

In  the evenings we went for a stroll around the city, which is only a 15 mins walk from the hotel and enjoyed good food and some shopping in the small boutiques. When entering the town there is a small frozen yoghurt shop on the right hand I can totally recommend as they top it with hot chocolate sauce and it is just insanely good! The restaurant “The mills” was also fantastic, not too fancy but typical greek and had both great service and mouthwatering food. At the harbor, there is a cute store called “Mozenda”, which sells lots of local products like honey and does a lot of delicious goodies themselves like my favorite sesame bars with honey or a fig-sesame-honey-orange pastry. I would furthermore definitely recommend you to walk up the city until the hill with the 3 churches and watch the sunset. It is honestly an easy hike, which takes you max 15 minutes, but the view is insanely good!

But now I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves… :)

A big thanks again to Far Out Villas, Discover Greece and Wilde PR for this amazing stay!
