Chocolatey Pumpkin Bread
And here we go with my first food post. I hope you guys get inspired by some new ideas and recipes and would be really thankful if you would give be both feedback and some additive ideas or new recipes you would want me to post for you.
So as it gets autmny, the pumpkin is the new must-have for your next grossary-shopping ;-) And as I was carving something sweet and at the same time a rich energizer for my big travel to America I made this quick but extremely delicious Pumpkinbread.
All you need is:
- 1 1/2 cup oat flour
- 1/2 cuo almond meal
- 1/3 chocolate drops
- 1/3 cup seeds of your choice (I took sunflower seeds)
- 1 cup pumpkin purée
- 1 cup organic sugar
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp agave
- 2 tbsp marple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- baking powder and soda
- optional: chocolate chunks
So first preheat oven to 180C. Meanwhile mix all ingredients together except for some chocolate chips that you sprinkle on top after putting the batter into a loaf pan. Bake for around 50 mins and let it cool completly before cutting. You can eat it like this as it’s quite sweet itself or you can top it with any nuttery butter, I warmed up Nutella for laying it easier on, or honey. I topped it with chocolate chunks so it was the perfect mix of soft, warm and crunchy - delicious… :-)
